Ananda Rutherford

Ananda Rutherford was Collections Manager at the Geffrye Museum from 2004 to 2014 and was responsible for the documentation and digitisation of the collection. Prior to this she studied history of art at the Courtauld Institute and worked for a number of years at the Victoria & Albert Museum as an assistant curator and then as a project co-ordinator on the British Galleries project.

Her primary interest is in digital access and the representation of collections data. She is also interested in material culture theory and how this can be applied and investigated through data visualisation and she hopes to combine these areas in her doctoral research at UCL's Centre for Digital Humanities.
