Alex Goddard

After studying English at Liverpool University, Alex completed an MA in Early Sienese Painting at the Courtauld Institute. Directly after that she went to work at the V&A where she worked as an Assistant Curator in the Sculpture Department and on the installation of the British Galleries. She went back to the Sculpture Dept as Curator for another 5 years.  She has been at the Geffrye for 4 years where she is involved with temporary exhibitions and gallery interpretation. Her main areas of interest are 20th century and contemporary interiors, and she has done some detailed research into Utility furniture. agoddard@geffrye-museum.org.uk
